Organization Design/Change Management

Worked with the corporate communications management team of a $48 billion Pharmaceutical company to redesign their organization to deliver the new capabilities required to operate in a fast-changing, more challenging business environment. Facilitated the change implementation through clarification of roles and responsibilities, cross-team coordination, leadership coaching, key stakeholder communications, and targeted action plans.

 

Organization/Team Effectiveness

Worked with the leaders of the credit, commercial lending, and real estate lending organizations, in this US division of a $49 billion financial services company, to significantly improve the effectiveness of their teams’ interactions.  The day-to-day interactions between the lending and credit organizations were severely strained and negatively impacting the business.  Through in-depth interviews and facilitated problem-solving sessions, the teams identified and implemented specific actions to overcome the issues undermining their working relationships.

 

Organization Effectiveness/Process Improvement

Facilitated numerous working sessions using an approach based on GE’s “Work Out” methodology, in collaboration with a team of consultants, The design and conduct of each project was customized for each client.   Participated in projects for two pharmaceutical companies and a branded foods company.  Worked with internal program management of a pharmaceutical company to build sustainable internal capability for the design and facilitation of sessions.  Conducted facilitator training.

 

Competency Identification and Assessment

For the marketing organization of a $118 billion- technology company, identified new competencies required for digital marketing through targeted interviews with subject matter experts across industries.  Developed structured interview questions for use in assessing current capabilities in the organization as well as potential hires.

 

Executive Assessment and Development

Conducted a qualitative executive assessment of and recommended development actions for a key succession candidate for leadership of the compensation and benefits function at this $6.3 billion company.   The assessment integrated both 360° qualitative feedback and the results of the Hogan Leadership Series survey.

 

Provided 360° qualitative assessments and executive coaching to high-potential leaders in a Fortune 50 pharmaceutical company.
